About
****If you are not already a Bee Monitoring Program volunteer, email lindsay.loftin@austintexas.gov for more details before registering. This opportunity has an application process. We need more volunteers for monitoring at the Festival Beach Food Forest, Austin Nature and Science Center, and Mayfield Park. Please inquire if interested!
Come train to participate in the 2025 monitoring program and learn the bee house cleanout protocols for winter-time at the garden.
We will go over logging your hours, garden volunteer guidelines and expectations of ZBG staff, how to record observations on iNaturalist, the new digital data recording process, bee species we expect to see in the early spring, and the overall goals of the program.
