About
Every year, our chapter sponsors the construction of a house in Burlington through fundraising, and students are encouraged to volunteer at the build site to get a hands-on experience in community building. Build shifts are not only educational, but also fun!
Volunteers learn the value of teamwork, leadership, and hard work while also getting to learn new skills in home construction. Some examples of build-site tasks include putting up walls, painting, roofing, and more!
Build shifts are Saturday mornings from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm. No building/construction experience is necessary. Just come ready to make a difference and have some fun!
A member of our leadership team will reach out before the build to communicate logistics. Transportation provided for those that need it
