About
Bethany Christian Services' Refugee Resettlement Program in Athens is committed to helping refugees establish their lives in the US. We provide a range of services to aid in resettlement with the goal of our clients becoming self-sufficient and successful members of society. Refugee families have experienced significant challenges in their journey of coming to the US. Bethany caseworkers help refugees rebuild their lives by providing a number of core services.
Trusted volunteers are needed to pick up food boxes from local food pantries and deliver to Bethany's office. There are multiple shifts available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This opportunity greatly benefits our refugee families by helping to restock their pantry each week.
