Join the Winn Montessori PTA in revitalizing our beloved school pollinator garden! Once a vibrant haven for native plants and pollinators, our garden has become overwhelmed by pesky weeds and Bermuda grass. We need your help to clear the way for fresh new plantings! 🌿🐝
We'll also give the schoolyard a little extra love by picking up any litter. Your hands-on efforts will make a huge difference in bringing back the beauty and life to our outdoor spaces!
When picking up litter, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends participants do so responsibly and at their comfort level.
When you finish collecting litter, please dispose of any disposable gloves properly by placing them into your trash bag. Make sure your trash bag is securely tied to protect sanitation workers. After placing the trash bag in the designated trash location, immediately wash your hands with soap and water.
· Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, work gloves, a snack, and sunscreen is highly recommended.
