Fletcher Creek Park - Litter Pickup and Data Collection

Join us for park cleanup in Fletcher Creek Park on Thursday 7/18/24 from 8AM - 10PM. It's likely that the weather will be HOT, so we want to get an early start.

This opportunity is perfect for those looking for a meaningful summer service opportunity. In addition to the cleanup, we will be collecting data on the litter - material, object, and brand - using an app called Litterati. The Litterati app enables users to document, map, and clean up litter in their communities by uploading geotagged photos of the trash they collect, allowing for detailed tracking and analysis of litter patterns.

If there is a heat advisory or rain, we will reschedule for the following week. As always - thank you for helping Clean Memphis advance its mission through community service to empower communities to sustain a cleaner Memphis.
