About
Save Austin's Cemeteries is collaborating with PARD Cemetery Operations to repair markers in Austin's first park, Oakwood Cemetery! Join us for a unique weekend opportunity to learn how to create concrete bases. We are in need of 14 adults comfortable with working in pairs to learn how to create concrete bases. Volunteers will meet two Saturday mornings at 9am at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel, 1601 Navasota St, Austin, TX 78702. We will be training teams to create bases for broken markers to lay in up off of the ground.
