About
Go BIG for your community and spend a little time volunteering on the weekends or evenings.
Our Mission: Create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our Vision: Every kid graduates with a plan for their future and mentor whose impact lasts a lifetime.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay serves 9 counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Sumter, Alachua, Citrus, and Marion. We establish, support, and supervise caring one-to-one relationships between screened adults (Bigs) and deserving children (Littles).

To ensure child safety, background checks, reference interviews, and other protocols are used before matching a volunteer with a child.
