About

Join us for an interactive Public Square workshop focused on how WSU students can be more involved in the life of their community. Led by Jessica Perone, assistant director of WSU's Center for Civic Engagement and Oluyemisi Oloniyo, Center for Civic Engagement's Group Projects & Student Outreach graduate assistant, this workshop uses social learning to collaboratively discuss and consider possible approaches and solutions to difficult problems. This discussion will center on becoming more engaged with the community.

Social learning leaders strive to bring people together to learn from each other across boundaries, with the goal of building more interconnected, inclusive, and resilient partnerships and communities to solve challenges in an equitable and inclusive manner. The goal is to create rich and interconnected systems that are building pathways for integration and collaboration.

As with all Public Square discussions, we want to hear from you--this workshop only works with the interactive participation of audience members.

The Public Square discussion will take place Wed, Nov 15 at 3 p.m. in Butch's Den in the lower level of the Compton Union Building.
