About
The event will be held in the Fred Shaw Plaza from 12:30pm-2:00pm.
Where do you stand on the global stage? What problems in the world keep you up at night? What do you care about?
Students at Miami-Dade College have been answering these questions with fervor. With the help of award-winning art magazine, Miambiance, Be the Change: Speak Your Mind Talent & Spoken Word Showdown promises to be an unforgettable display of Kendall student talent whose work embodies the intersection of creativity and changemaking. Centered around themes of voter engagement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, students will show MDC–and the world–the future they are fighting for.
Come watch, learn, listen, and be inspired by the original and show stopping talent of our MDC students!
