Bear Boots on the Ground Tornado Cleanup (Morning Shift)

UCA Bear Boots on the Ground will volunteer with City Center in Little Rock to provide tornado clean up and relief. Volunteers will go into the Walnut Valley and Colony West neighborhoods to help with general cleanup and talk with residents about their most current needs. Please note that City Center is a faith-based outreach of Immanuel Baptist Church; while UCA volunteers are allowed to participate in faith-related activities, you are not required to do so.

• UCA volunteers will be leaving from Reynolds Performance Hall in a carpool caravan at 8:30am and returning by 2:00pm
• If you will be in Little Rock already and would like to meet us there, we will meet at City Center at 315 N Shackleford Rd. in Little Rock at 9:30am and will be finished volunteering at 1:00pm
• Boxed lunches will be provided to UCA volunteers
• Work gloves and tools will be provided to UCA volunteers; if you would prefer to bring your own work gloves, rake, or loppers, you may do so; we ask that UCA volunteers NOT operate a chainsaw as part of this group activity (even if you know how)

If you have any questions, please reach out to Wendy Holbrook at wendyh@uca.edu.
