About
About the class:
Mental Health First Aid is a public education course that anyone can take to learn how to help someone who is developing a mental health issue or experiencing a mental health crisis. You can learn more about the class by going to www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org. If you complete the course, your certification is good for three years and can be put on a resume! This course has been redesigned to be a blended format. It will consist of 2 hours of online/self-directed course work to be completed between now and May 12th, and a two day, 2.5 hour online live zoom session on May 30th and 31st, 12:00PM-3:00PM each day via zoom (link will be sent via email). Enrollment for this class will close on May 12th at 4PM. The two hour online/self-directed coursework is due by May 29th by 4PM in order to participate in the live session on May 30th and 31st. You must complete both sessions of the course for the mental health first aid certificate.
