Join your fellow neighbors as we give back at Mountain View Park!
We'll spend the day mulching and picking up. Like last time, we'll bring snacks, pizza, and water to help keep us going!
Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We'll meet at the pavilion and get started right at 9:00 AM!

Hi Everyone,
Looking forward to a great volunteer day! Here is some more detail about the day.
Warning --> long (but important) post ahead :)
DETAILS
Where: we’ll meet at the Pavilion
When:
8:30-9 – check in, get T-shirts, grab coffee and food, mingle, etc
9-noon-ish: mulchin'
After work - we can eat, talk, and we'd like to get your input on the park
At 9 we’ll have APF say a few words and then we’ll go over the day. Mainly we’ll be mulching trees… we have 5 cubic yards!
What You Should Bring:
- Coffee mugs/water bottles to reduce trash
- Work gloves if you have them
- Rakes – we’ll bring about 8, but if you have one, the more the merrier. They’ll be returned, don’t worry
- Wheelbarrow – again if you have one and it’s convenient. We’ll have 8 mulch sleds
- Any other tools you want to bring
What We’re Bringing:
- Water
- Coffee
- Donuts/Morning pastries
- Snacks
- Juice
- East Side Pies around 11:30
Rain – right now it looks to rain on Friday, but not on Saturday. If we start to see rain, we’ll make a game time decision on the event if conditions are bad
T-shirts – thank you for giving your sizes. APF is giving us a general allocation of shirts, meaning they’re not sorting through and giving us the exact sizes. Soooooooo, you may not get the exact size shirt you got. I’ll try my best, but don’t blame me
