About

Join Friends of Copperfield Nature Trails, a Keep Austin Beautiful Creek adopter, for a trail and park visit while picking up trash. We'll also discuss our invasive plant removal project and identify a few of the native and invasive plants growing in the area.
We are excited to welcome you to this project where a Site Leader will meet you with supplies to collect litter and recycling while ensuring all safety precautions are addressed.  Here are important things to know:
What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, snack, a positive attitude and willingness to work. Recommend hat, sunscreen, pants and long sleeves. We'll provide some pick up tools, trash bags, and gloves, but you are of course welcome to supply your own. Where to park: You will be able to park along Blakeney Lane and adjacent streets.  Please do not bring or leave valuables in your car.  Parking will be free.  Where to meet: We will meet at the Blakeney pond Copperfield Walnut Creek Trail entrance at 1416 Blakeney Ln. When should I arrive:  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for time to find parking and our meeting location.  We will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end promptly at 11 AM. We ask you plan to volunteer for at least one hour during this two hour shift.

It's a Go!
If raining Saturday, Dec 3, we will cancel. If light mist, I'll still show up.

Howdy Volunteers! Am doing a trail assessment later today (Friday Dec 2) for mud conditions after rain this AM and will send out a message and post here again later regarding planned trail volunteer day. If you happen to be out on the trail today and have an opinion on our work day, please message me. :-)

It asks me for a confirmation code to register? Does anyone know why or what it is?
