About

A New Start provides a number of services to the community such as Tax Preparation/Representation for Individuals and Small Businesses, Homeless & Disability Outreach, HIV/STD Education/Outreach, Entrepreneurship Coaching/Mentorship and Asset Building, International Outreach, Civic Engagement, Healthy Living, Community Collaboration, Women’s Empowerment, LGBT+ Empowerment, and Internship/Mentorship Programs for Inner City Youth, College, and Post Graduate students. We actively fight for causes such as Human Trafficking, Threats to Democracy and the Rule of Law World Wide, Religious Discrimination, All Forms of Discrimination, the Environment, Tax matters and any other forms of injustice.

Remote and In-person volunteer roles include: Administrative (phone calls, emails, and formatting forms), Research, Telecommuting (COVID-19), Interacting with Clients, and Community Outreach.
