About
Hello and welcome to Pease Park, we are glad you are here.
Today you will be helping us keep Shoal Creek looking clean and healthy. Litter is a constant concern in any waterway and it is important for us to do our part in cleaning it up.
Our volunteers have pulled things like plastic bottles, chip bags, even shopping carts and mattresses out of the creek. We don’t want these things polluting our waterways or eventually washing into our oceans; remember what Gill told Nemo, “all drains lead to the ocean.”
Please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Gloves and bags will be provided. Long pants are recommended. Masks are strongly requested.
