Extra Hands on Deck at NAMI Office

Open Opportunity

About

NAMI Central Virginia, the Richmond affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, needs some extra hands this month!

We provide free education and support for individuals and families affected by serious mental illness. Behind all of that wonderful programming is a staff that keeps it all running. We are hoping to reorganize our office so our organization runs more efficiently!
We are looking for an office volunteer to help with downsizing and reorienting of the office. This project largely involves general filing of documents, and creating digital copies of historical items using a scanner. This would need to occur during regular business hours of 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday - Friday. Date(s) are flexible.

This project comes as we have been getting rid of excess cabinets and desks in preparation for a new office space. The remaining files need to be organized in a way that makes sense. In addition, we have a cabinet with several photo albums that we would like to digitize before we throw out. Our scanner on the front desk is set up to scan right to the cloud!

You may register through the platform, or send an email to info@namicva.org!
