About

Volunteers needed to write letters to nursing homes. I need volunteers to write letters to a nursing home. We will be writing letters to different nursing homes for  October, November, December, January, February, March,  and April. This is a partnership with NSCS and Alzheimer's Association. We will also need volunteers for fundraising and writing thank-you notes and callouts. Each volunteer will write a letter to a patient in a nursing home. - we do not have the names of the patients. Please write the letter in general, but be compassionate. We do not have the sex of the patients. Write the letter, take a picture of the letter and email it to pamala.heard@jsums.edu. In the Subject area: Nursing Home Letter. Also, fill out your community service form. Agency will be Du Bois-Harvey Honors College, and the organization will be NSCS. Everything is done electronically. Please make sure you meet those deadlines to receive your community service. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Pamala Heard at 601-979-3418.
