One Tent Health Looking for Volunteers

Open Opportunity

About

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving free HIV screening tests in DC's most underserved areas. Volunteers will be trained both online and in person for both post and pre-screening counseling in addition to hands-on HIV screening.

Students should commit to one shift per month (4 hours) on weekends. Trainings are mostly online and will be sent via email. There is one in person training on how to use the screening tests, which will be no longer than one hour. Volunteer opportunities will be in person in DC, so volunteers will be provided with discounted transportation fees when using ViaRides. Varies each screening day. Information about address is sent out a few days before. Anyone interested should email UMD@onetenthealth.org.
