Grady's Garden

The motivation for this project is to honor the little boy I nannied, Grady, who passed away from a rare neurological disorder this last May at 10 years old. I organized an event on make a difference day 2018 to volunteer at his school, Willis D. Shaw Elementary, in Springdale, AR. We were able to work with his special education teacher and his mother on enrichment projects for his memorial garden. We are having another volunteer day to further contribute to the garden by planting flowers and making murals/wind chimes now that spring is here. We are so excited to be back again to help celebrate and remember our sweet boy! Artistic ability is not required -- we will have something to do for everyone! Considering the fact that school is not close to campus, I will round up to an hour of community service each way for transportation :)
