At the annual Greensboro Alabama Turkey Trot, I helped setup, tear down, and I ran the 5k with my family. We do this every year and it is such a fun experience. The town will get together to raise money for different causes/fundraisers.

For the workers at Brookstone, we made cards of gratitude and appreciation from the members of Zeta Tau Alpha. It was great to make cards with my pledge class and the new members, while making something we knew would put a smile on someones face!

Serve A Meal at Fayetteville Shelter

This was a very humbling experience. We were able to serve dinner to the members of the 6 month rehab program until 5:00 and then from 5:00 until 6:00 we served food to the public. We met a variety of people who were more than willing to talk about their story, and how the salvation army has helped support them. The coordinator was not present, but a homeless lady named Sue who has worked there for 3 years answered any questions we had. There was not much coordination, so no one gave an email and we also did not think it was appropriate to take a picture in that setting.
