I volunteered at Cobblestone Farms and harvested bell peppers, poblano peppers, and kale. I also washed and weighed them and then packaged them. It was so cool to help out there considering they give a lot of their produce to the Northwest Food Bank. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!
I volunteered at Fayetteville Habitat for Humanity ReStore this morning where I cleaned up a lot, restocked items, and organized different sections of the store. Customers will benefit from the cleanliness and organized sections that I did. I learned what Habitat for Humanity was for and I learned how to organize the sections in a way that looked good for customers.
I went to the 7Hills homeless shelter where I packs about 300 bags for homeless people. I had a really good time getting to help out my community and meet other volunteers and staff while being there. I would definitely recommend going back and getting the opportunity to help out the homeless community in your area.
