Squirrel Fest Event Set-Up

Join Pease Park Conservancy to volunteer at Squirrel Fest!

About Squirrel Fest
Squirrel Fest is free and open to the public and an opportunity for Austinites to celebrate spring. Highlights include program activations curated by Future Front Texas; art, learning, conservation, and wellness program activations, food, a movie screening, and more!

What to Expect
Volunteers during this shift will help set up key areas for the event, help partners load in and set up their booths, and any other tasks that would come up.

Getting to Kingsbury Commons
Parking is limited in Kingsbury Commons, therefore we highly encourage alternative modes of transportation such as carpooling, public transportation, walking, biking, or rideshare.

If you do drive, please park at the ACC Rio Grande Parking Garage (824 West 12th St). This parking area is FREE, offers 400 covered parking spots, and is just a short 5-minute walk to Pease Park along the Shoal Creek Greenbelt Trail.

Children welcome with adult supervision

A note about Pease Park Conservancy's events:
If you sign up, please make every effort to show up. Our events are free so all of our community members can attend. But we plan our events to be meaningful for the number of people who register to be there, so please make every effort to attend if you have registered. We understand things come up from time to time, but If you have registered we look forward to having you there! Thank you!
