Was not there as a tour guide but got to enjoy the various activities held at the center of performing arts building. Saw the songwriting workshops upstairs and was able to see the clay workshop as well. Enjoyed a couple games on the arcade machines and watching the performances held.

A cookout to remind students to register for summer and fall classes. While there, I registered for my final class here at PGCC for my associates. Enjoyed a hotdog and hanging out in the courtyard enjoying the sunny weather.
This session was very relatable to me because I experience impostor syndrome all the time with regards to who I am as a person and my outlook on the progress in my learning towards my field of study. After this session, I know not to be too hard on myself for when trying associate myself in groups, and studying.
Supported student-owned business and was well surprised by the art and creativity that was displayed for sale if not for the showcase. Bought a necklace from one of the vendors, and stayed there to interact with the sellers and browse the objects.
Informative meeting regarding campus affairs. A specific portion of the meeting that I was personally interested in was regarding having to pay to use the gym at Novak field house since I go there all the time. Other than that, other topics covered were having study rooms, and issues with students not attending classes leading to potentially drop in grades and engagement in their learning.
Great to know the transfer process when planning to leave PGCC to go to a four-year university. As a student in my final semester or so, even more so. Knowing the cost of tuition and resources like ARTSYS is great to have when knowing what to apply for without having previous effort and time wasted into taking classes that don't get transferred over.
Fun and exciting experience being able volunteer at this event. It was great to see high school students learn about the campus through touring and going through the various booths showing the programs and degrees available at this community college. While there was no big mishap while volunteering, there was a bit of confusion on communication and clarification of direction. There was many confused students that didn't know what building to go to, especially during lunch time.
It was great to see student run businesses. Most of them sold art and clothing that showed their passion and interest in art and fashion.
Eye opening experience learning about healthy masculinity, practicing it, and preventing sexual assault. It is also a reminder about scholarship information and events.
