I love that we are raising awareness of autism by means of social media.

I love this foundation and was honored to take part in honoring Madison.
As always, I enjoy my time listening to the various speakers that Find Your Impact allows us to hear from. I loved listening to Tenille Hunter talk about Arkansas Support Network and how we can get involved. I loved that their goal was supporting everyone’s right to be included in the community. I was interested in their human rights committees as they help to ensure everyone with disabilities receives help at the Arkansas support network. After hearing Tenille speak, we had the opportunity to hear from Gladys Tiffany and her involvement with OMNI, a center for peace, justice, and ecology that aims to weave a wiser world. I loved her opportunity for students to get involved through a simple way to honor earth day:
Gathering students for a potluck to have conversations about climate change. Overall, I always appreciate these zooms and how they are so informative about how to get involved and find what works for you in serving the community.
This zoom was very informative about 3 different organizations located in Northwest Arkansas. We had the opportunity to hear from people associated with Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County, AmeriCorps Vista, and LifeStyles Inc. I admire Find Your Impact’s passion for the desire to get student involvement in community service that the students are also passionate about. Personally, I loved the heart and mission behind LifeStyles Inc. LifeStyles Inc. helps provide jobs and activities for people with disabilities. While this is very helpful for people with disabilities, John Newman was very explicit that this was also a great opportunity for the community to be around more people with disabilities so we can shape our stereotyped views of this particular community. This organization had a great family feel to it, and I could feel their passion for their mission through the screen. John was honest and transparent about the obstacles and difficulties accompanying this job, which I respected. In short, I really respect all of the organizations mentioned in this zoom and enjoyed hearing from each.
I love the heart behind this organization and the fact that they care about helping students volunteer/ make it fun for them!

The blood drive was a great experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to give blood and help others.
Loved learning more about this organization.
I got to learn a lot about this organization. I love and respect everything that they are doing about mental health.
