NSBE Jr. Volunteer Mentorship – East Forsyth Middle School

Join the North Carolina A&T State University chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) in supporting the NSBE Jr. program at East Forsyth Middle School.

Volunteers will help engage middle school students in STEM-focused activities, mentor students, and lead hands-on projects designed to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the next generation of engineers while supporting STEM education in the local community.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Assist students with STEM activities and projects
• Engage and mentor middle school students
• Help facilitate and lead group activities
• Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
• Serve as a positive role model for participating students

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The program will take place on select dates throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. Volunteers are encouraged to participate consistently when available.
