Help keep game days clean and support UT’s Zero Waste Gameday efforts! Volunteers will work in and around the stadium collecting waste and recyclables and helping keep the stadium and collection areas clean.

Where to Meet
Please arrive between 11:25am and 11:30am at the south entrance of the Zeanah Engineering Complex for check-in. Volunteers will receive their stadium pass and head into the stadium together. Once inside, volunteers will meet at the loading dock and receive their assigned tasks.

What to Bring & Wear

• Pants and closed-toe shoes are required.

• If you have a Zero Waste Gameday volunteer t-shirt from a previous game, please wear it!

• Bring a refillable water bottle.

• Disposable gloves will be provided.

• The stadium has a clear bag policy. Please review the UT Athletics Clear Bag Policy  before arriving. Medically necessary items are permitted but may be subject to search.

• Watch the weather! Dress for outdoor work and changing weather conditions.

During the Shift
Volunteers will be walking and standing for most of the shift, with several breaks including a 30 minute meal break. Tasks may include collecting waste and recyclables, keeping collection areas clean, and helping sort and recover recyclable materials such as aluminum cans and plastic bottles.

Volunteers will receive a meal voucher that can be used at most food stalls inside the stadium. Please do not accept food or drinks directly from fans.
