Description

Greetings Volunteers, we’d like to thank you for volunteering for Keep Austin Beautiful's Clean Lady Bird Lake event. You'll be joining 100+ other volunteers to give some extra care to the lake and trails. You have signed up to participate in the Austin Rowing Club Shoreline cleanup. All ages are welcome at this site with adult supervision. *Just as a reminder, this is a shoreline cleanup and does not involve boats.*

NOTE:  Due to the emergence of the Omicron variant, Keep Austin Beautiful is requiring all individuals volunteering with us to wear a mask.  We are following public health and safety guidelines and will continue to monitor the situation. If you are uncomfortable wearing a mask while volunteering, we would invite you to re-join our efforts when masking is not required.

To further ensure safety, we will also be limiting group size at volunteer sites.  During shifts, volunteers will be allowed to take masks and water breaks as needed.  While we are excited to return to cleaning and beautifying our green spaces, ensuring the safety of all community members is paramount.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Your Lake Leader for this site will be Aubrea Rudder from the Austin Rowing Club and she will have your cleanup supplies, helpful safety guidelines, and further instructions for you.
