Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Description

Thanks for your interest in Into the Streets! Read the details below and then use the green register button to serve with us at Live Health Smart on Friday, March 26! Report to the service site at the designated time. We will not meet on campus prior to service.

Service Site: Live Health Smart

Volunteer Role: As a volunteer, you will be cleaning up and planting in the Richard I Memorial Kingston Teaching farm.

Additional Information from the CommunityPartner: Please park at 4500 14th Avenue North. Additionally, wear a UAB t-shirt. Safety gear will be provided. 

Inclement Weather: In light rain, the event will still proceed. If the weather conditions are worse, the event will be canceled.

COVID-19: All volunteers will be required to show their Healthcheck pass upon arrival. Additionally, volunteers must honor UAB requirements for face masks and social distancing while serving. Failure to do so will result in the inability to continue service. Help us keep you, other volunteers, and our community safe!
