Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge Volunteers

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is seeking current students to participate in our volunteer program. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and accredited big cat sanctuary by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. Our mission is to rescue abused and neglected big cats, bears, and other exotic animals who have fallen victim to the exotic pet trade and entertainment industry. We are a strict no-contact facility, and do not buy, sell, breed, or trade any animals. Since 1992, we have provided a second chance at life for animals suffering throughout the country.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us with our mission. Volunteers aid our animal care team in habitat construction, and sustainability projects throughout the Refuge. Volunteering is a great way to gain experience in a sanctuary setting, and giving back to animals in need.

We also are seeking educational docents to aid in our advocacy and awareness program, providing educational information to on-site guests, as well as off-site presentations and booth events throughout NW Arkansas.
