About
Do you want to help make an impact on the next generation? Do you want to make new connections in the professional community? Do you want to build your leadership skills? Do you want free lunch? Then come volunteer with us at JA of Georgia!
What is JA (Junior Achievement)? JA is a global non-profit that partners with over 230+ businesses in the state. We know that every child has a dream, a vision for what their future can be. We want to make that dream a reality.
As a college student, you can have an opportunity to not only be a mentor to a small group of middle school students for a day but also network with local companies and professionals. This is a great resume and professional development builder, a way to expand your relationships for future internships, jobs and leadership positions.
What is my volunteer role? We run daily real-world simulations at our JA Discovery Centers! For one day, you will share your life experiences to coach a small group of students through their day and help bring the simulation to life. You will either be guiding students as they make decisions around running their business or help students think through how to manage money wisely.
Everyone 18+ is welcome to volunteer, as we will provide morning-of training!
