About
The garden is located on the Decatur campus of Georgia State University's Perimeter College. There are two main garden areas – the Native Plant Botanical Garden and the Ferns of the World. The Native Plant Garden features several areas including Shade and Sun perennials and shrubs.
The garden acts as a resource for our students to learn about ecosystems and
plant diversity of Georgia. We offer volunteer opportunities for students to be outdoors and
learn more about gardening and the role plants play in our ecosystem. We also can offer
our students outreach opportunities to interact with community members that visit the
garden.
