American Association for Cancer Research

About

The American Association for Cancer Research is the oldest and largest cancer research foundation in the world. Our mission is to cure cancer through research, education, communication and collaboration.

Our resources do not just fund fellowships and scholarships for cancer researchers in some of the leading hospitals, labs and research institutes around the world. We're also making investments into career training of cancer researchers, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and creating avenues for information sharing amongst not just doctors and cancer researchers, but patients and families as well.

The AACR has over 34,000 scientists and researchers in 97 countries around the world, who are working together to cure the more than 200 types of childhood and adult cancers. Your volunteer support puts us one step closer to finding a cure, as we firmly believe cancer research saves lives.

Mission: The mission of the AACR is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration.
