About

Misty Hollow is a private invite only Artist Residency on 25+ acres on the Slippery Rock Creek, close to McConnell's Mills. Asia Ward, the lead artist, created Misty Hollow as a three year research project for her artistic practice. In 2027 Misty Hollow will transition into an organization. The goal of Misty Hollow is to provide space for artists and other disciplines to use Misty Hollow, the land, the resources, the environment as an opportunity to create ephemeral or artifact driven projects. Such as experimental lab and data driven research as well as puppet shows, eco sculptures, etc. The only restriction to the projects is that they need to happen on the property, and be about the property. What Misty Hollow is looking for are individuals interested in using the property for their developing practice. There is no restriction on discipline. We would love to work with those interested in climate change-based work, environmental studies, and those working in the humanities and the fine arts. Misty Hollow is a little wild. It's secluded and is not handicap accessible. Parking is very limited.
