About

Ready to protect our oceans? ğŸŒŠ Join VolunteerCleanup.Org and become part of a movement that has removed over 600,000 pounds of trash from Miami Dade County beaches and shorelines. Your efforts can make a huge difference in preserving our beautiful marine environments!

About VolunteerCleanup.Org: Founded by Dave and his partner in 2013, VolunteerCleanup.Org started as a simple initiative to clean up plastic trash from Biscayne Bay. What began as informal group cleanups with friends quickly grew into a county-wide movement. Frustrated by the amount of trash they encountered while kayaking, they decided to create a centralized platform to connect volunteers with cleanup events. Today, VolunteerCleanup.Org has facilitated over 3,000 cleanups with 30,000 volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for passionate individuals to join our cleanup events and help protect our oceans. As a volunteer, you can:

  • Participate in shoreline and waterway cleanups
  • Organize your own cleanup events
  • Recruit friends and community members to join the cause
  • Spread awareness about the importance of keeping our oceans clean

How to Get Involved: Visit VolunteerCleanup.Org to find upcoming cleanup events or to organize your own. For any questions or to get more information, feel free to contact us.
