About

Overview: Work alongside Public Programs Educators to carry out a variety of programs for small and large groups of elementary school students. Workshop topics include engineering, biology, earth and space, chemistry, and physics.
Location: Mobius Children's Museum, Mobius Science Center
Responsibilities and Qualifications
: Assist Public Programs Educators, interact with groups of elementary school students, encourage children to use their imagination and creativity by asking open-ended questions, appreciate children's ideas, must work well in collaborative teams, must be able to stand/walk for at least 3 hours at a time, high school diploma or equivalent preferred, experience working with children required, basic science knowledge required, must be willing to learn how to dissect cow eyeballs, frogs, sea stars, grasshoppers, and squid.
Time commitment: At least two shifts per month, shifts are available Tuesday through Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-3:30pm, and weekends as needed.
