Consider donating gift cards to small prizes for students who are achieving set goals, or success coaches who are showing up consistently. Small treats such as mints, stickers, pencil toppers, etc. are always a big hit with kids as well.
What is Success Coaching?
Success Planning is an innovative coaching model designed to help students, families, and caring adults work together to set and achieve personalized goals. This forward-looking, relationship-based approach provides each student with a Success Coach—a caring mentor who helps them map out a path to success in school and in life. Students will begin to see their lives in a new way, and plan for a future they want to live. Our Success Coaching allows them to practice and refine those goal making skills, as well as giving consistent positive feedback on who they are as a person to help them develop into the adults they want to be.
Our volunteer Success Coaches meet with their students twice a month to help them celebrate everyday wins, plan longer goals of weeks to months in length, redirect when goals aren't fully successful, and to celebrate meeting their goals!
Your donation can go towards small everyday wins for the students (such as mints, stickers, etc.) or big goal achievements (such as gift cards, donated experiences, or donations of items).
Your donation could also go towards celebrating our volunteer Success Coaches who are taking time out of their lives for no pay to help these kids out (such as gift certificates or donated experiences).
