Help feed the hungry,
assist with the “clothes closet,”

If you seek a University of the Incarnate Word upper level Religious Studies class, this experience is integrated into RELS 4349 Field Experience on the UIW fall schedule
Study social justice issues in unequal educational opportunity, housing, poverty in San Antonio.
Learn from people who have been volunteering for decades interacting with city services
Make a difference in the most disadvantaged zip code in the city
· participate in this experience growing in social emotional intelligence
· build community in the neighborhood and with work colleagues
· Religious Studies Course Credit, an “internship” which could change your life
· If you seek to do service in exchange for housing and food, serve 20 hours a week in the summer or 18 hours a week fall semester.

Inner City Development can provide community housing and a small food allowance of $80 a month in exchange for working 20 hours a week in the summer and 18 hours a week in the fall. Relate directly with them for information if you are interested in that 210-224-7239 (office open in the morning).
