Show Gratitude for Essential Workers

Open Timeslots

Help us spread kindness and gratitude by safely sending thank-you messages to essential workers such as healthcare staff, teachers, grocery store employees, and others. Sponsor meals, make yard signs, post encouraging messages on social media, or make and deliver cards. Get creative and check out more ideas!

Please note that this service experience DOES NOT take place at the American Heart Association office. You should plan your kindness activity on your own time and at your own location. You must supply your own materials for your activity. The American Heart Association will not assist you in finding workers to recognize and will leave this research up to you to determine as a part of your service experience. You must also determine how to deliver any items you create. Online recognition is allowed and encouraged in order to maintain safety protocols during the pandemic. Additionally, we will not approve substantial hours without proof of what you accomplished. Volunteers should only register for this opportunity a maximum of three (3) times.
