UT AMSA Wildflower Preparation Volunteer Day (11/14)

Saturday, November 14th, 2020 from 8:30am to 10:00am (CT)

About

This project is the first step in preparing the ground for wildflower meadows in the Lamar Terrace area of Pease Park, just south of 29th street. The work scheduled for the 14th will include breaking ground and preparing the site for planting. The work will be done with garden hoes and rakes

We will be working socially distant, meaning one tool and one pair of work gloves (gloves will be disinfected and provided, feel free to bring your own gloves if that feels safer) per person and that tool and pair of gloves will stay with that person until the end of the workday. After we have finished working the tools and gloves will be disinfected again.

We are only breaking the surface of the soil (3-4 inches deep).
