Organization Information: Spokane Hoopfest Association is committed to organizing and operating the best 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the country. With the effort and enthusiasm of thousands of volunteers, Hoopfest strives to create a dynamic downtown festival, along with other events and tournaments throughout the year, including Spokane AAU Basketball, that transcend basketball through the celebration of athleticism, fair play, and community involvement. Spokane Hoopfest Association also provides charitable support through the distribution of profits to primarily Special Olympics and basketball-related activities.Opportunity Description: Each volunteer will be contacted 7 to 10 days prior to the event with further instructions relating to their area and their shift. Each volunteer receives a volunteer T-shirt. Volunteer check-in is located at the Information Tent during the weekend.Computer Input is a volunteer opportunity where game scores received from the master scoreboard are then input into computers in order to update the tournament brackets placed on the Hoopfest website.Days/Times: Saturday, June 29th 25-30 People/ ShiftSat 6/29 8:00 am to 2:00 pm_Sat 6/29 2:00 pm to 8:00 pmLocation: Spokane Hoopfest 421 West Riverside | Suite 115 Spokane, WA 99201Requirements: Hoopfest will provide small snacks and water, but itÕs a good idea to bring your own food and water as well. Additionally, students are required to obtain the appropriate signature from their community partner supervisor. Students can pick up a blank form at the CCE office (CUB LL48) on the main WSU Pullman Campus or online here. Completed hours must be submitted online here.
